Mikayla's Senior Pics

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of taking this beautiful girls senior photos and I wanted to share just a handful of them!! I had so many amazing shots of her, because Mikayla is extremely photogenic!!  I had my sweet Rylee assist me during the shoot snapping shots as well.  For example this first shot was Rylee's!!

~Recent Camping Photos~

Recently I went camping with my family and was able to get a lot of shots.  Most were just fun snapshots of the kids, but I thought I would share a couple that I love.  If you look closely in the background you can see the little fawn drinking from the stream.  I softened the photo and boosted the colors a bit. 

~Inspired by the Taylor Swift Safe and Sound Video~

My daughter and I are HUGE fans of the Hunger Games trilogy and one of the songs from the sound track is called Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift.  Really pretty song.  In her video she walks around with a cream colored dress and has a very natural look to her.  Anyways my daughter wanted to do something similar so we did our best to put a dress together using an old prom dress and a sheet.  Here's what we ended up with.

Totally forgot to take out the power pole in this.  As you can see on the one below it, I took it out of that one.   I also fixed her foot by hiding it.

~First Taste of Spring~

I have been waiting and waiting for some warm weather and finally the last couple of weeks we have had some that we can enjoy.  So today Brooky and I went outside and ran around a bit.  Then she got bored and that was that lol.  I got some pics though!!  

These were taken just around my driveway, because it was too chilly to go into the shade.  The sun felt good, but I wish I had a better background on some of these.  They are still pretty cute though.

Red Riding Hood

My daughter is dressing up as Red Riding Hood for Halloween and I usually always get pics of the outfit ahead of time.  We had a lot of fun for this shoot.  

This particular shot below was actually my attempt of doing something like a pic from one of the Red Riding Hood movie posters.  She's actually just sitting in the grass and I tried making it look like snow.

~Angels Among Us~

I took my daughter outside today for a photo shoot and originally I planned to do a Roman type outfit, but when I put the sheet on her she felt angelic, so we took a few shots that way first.  I ran some edits and wanted to share them here.  To see them larger you can click on the photo.

I went ahead and still did the Roman look as well, but the sun was really bright and we didn't get a ton of shots.
